The Minutes of the Field Committee of 27th November 2008 had been circulated and approved. Decision of Council: (a) Agreed that wheelchair access be improved from the tarmac footpath by the pavilion to the picnic table (b) that the quotation for materials for CS Workshop of �171.04 plus VAT for the lockers in the pavilion agreed (c) that a donation of �100 be made to the Probation Service for their work on the pavilion (d) that the quotation from Charterbrook of �234.00 for the three dog signs leading to the pavilion and �64.00 for the skateboard rules, were agreed. |

HALL COMMITTEE |

The Minutes of the Hall Committee of 6th December had been circulated. Decision of Council: (a) the quotation from Charterbrook of �92.00 for the sign to be fixed in the Community Hall, and �727.000 for the signposts to the campus was agreed.� (Campus sign waiting for planning approval). (b) the Clerk�s letter to DHJ about the conditions for booking the Hall was approved. (c) noted the �thank-you� letter from Coastwatch for the free use of the Hall.� Agreed they could continue to have free use during 2009. (d) noted accident report of 3rd December 2008 about SS. (e) spend up to �250.00 on a gas cooker, to be installed after Christmas (f) spend up to �60.00 on a toaster (g) confirmed purchase by MW of kitchen base units to fit under hatch area � one of these to be locked for storage of crockery used occasionally (h) agreed new work surfaces laminate with granite look for all the tops to be purchased (i) two prices to be sought for installation of the units and the tops and decision by Emergency Committee (j) crockery � spend up to �300.00 on additional cups, saucers, etc. |

FOOTPATHS COMMITTEE Noted that Modification Order 279 about footpaths 4 and 14 was never confirmed. The hazardous gate on the
footpath between Pennard Golf Club and the rear of Bendrick Drive had been
removed by the Golf Club. |

PARISH HALL COMMITTEE NK reported on progress work to the Parish Hall kitchen, and the appreciation of the Parish Hall Committee at the Community Council�s recommendation for four of their Members to receive the Lord Mayor�s Civic Award |

NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH GN reported on ongoing discussion with the Police and the Parish Hall Committee about use of the Parish hall for the PCSO. |
