A question was raised by Mr. C. James about communication
and monitoring, specifically the proposed new public toilets at Southgate
Road. b)
Mr. B. Hicks raised his concern at cattle coming from the
field at the back of Hael Lane and into residential areas via footpath PD 30,
and the resulting hazard and inconvenience they caused. |

CODE OF CONDUCTMrs. Silver and Mr. Nash reported on the seminar they had attended, held by the City and County of Swansea, on the new Code of Conduct. The revised Code of Conduct, and the acceptance of Pennard Community Council of the Code, has to be published in a local newspaper. Agreed that a joint publication with other local Councils be agreed. (Total estimated cost £767.00). |

The tender to be in two parts – Tender 1 - the Burial Ground. Tender 2 the Field, Community Hall, Pound, miscellaneous areas. Tenders can be for one or both tenders. |

ROAD HAZARD NEAR AIRPORTMr. Layton concerned at the traffic hazard on the road between the cattle grid off Kittle Hill Lane and the Airport, where inconsiderate drivers overtake other vehicles. Agreed the City and County of Swansea be asked about central white lines. |

Thirty-seven members of the public, including Members of the Council,
turned up on a wet Sunday morning for the litter-pick. |

Mr. Eley and the residents of 15 Park Road had suggested an alternative to the cutting back of trees and 12ft. high fencing. After discussion, this suggestion was not adopted. |

Decision of Council Tree & Gubb be advised that headstone 160 exceeds the size of permitted headstones, asking if they could, at their own expense, lower the stone so that the concrete bas is below ground level. Revised Burial Ground fees from 1st April 2009 agreed. Agreed the sum of £1,400.00 from Isaac’s (exc. VAT) from Isaacs for the refixing of seven memorials. |
