Former Pylewell Garage, Pilton Green 2005/0247 Demolition of existing warehouse/garage and construction of detached dwelling with integral double garage. 
The Rhossili area is a major tourist attraction and its main access route passes through Pylewell and Pilton Green.  This development is on one of the highest points in the area and will be clearly visible from all points to the detriment of this part of Gower as an unspoilt agricultural area.
The development, by virtue of condition, form and general design of the proposed buildings, falls outside the conversion criteria of Policy RE3 of the Swansea Local Plan Review No.1.  As such the development would appear as a new visually prominent and urbanising form of development which would detract from the rural character, appearance and natural beauty of this part of Gower.

Pylewell Farmhouse, Pilton Green 2005/0239 Conversion of existing outbuilding to form two holiday units, construction of carport and single storey rear extension with balcony above and formation of pitched roof over existing flat roof.
We have no objections to the proposed alterations to the existing house and we would support a single storey building where the old barn currently is.
