How to get started on the Discussion Board

If you have never used a discussion board before, it may be useful for you to read or print the following simple instructions before proceeding any further.

To read the discussion board you do not need to register, but if you wish to add a comment then you must register beforehand (you only need to do this once, but make a note of your username and password).

To register a username, enter the discussion board by clicking the link above and there, at the top of the screen is a "register" button. Click it and tick the Terms and Conditions box and then fill in some basic information:-
a username (this can be anything that you want), your email address, your location etc. Note that you do not need to enter any information in the Profile information and Preferences section, unless you so wish.

Once you have registered, you will need us to activate your account before you can proceed (this is necessary in order for us to stop spammers filling the board with rubbish).

Please note that an an automatically generated email will confirm that your account has been activated. Some of these are going into user's spam folders, but please be assured that accounts are usually activated within 36 hours of registration, so if you haven't received an activation email, please just try to login.

Once your account has been activated, you can log in to the discussion board. There is a button at the top of the screen for this.

If you wish to add a new topic, click on the category and then click "New Topic". A window will appear where you can add your text.

If you wish to add a comment to an existing topic, simply click 'post reply'.
